## An inspectable template

This is an editorial worksheet, not a generated clinical finding or a private physician document. It shows the structure of a useful preparation without making conclusions about a patient or study.

- Clinical research question

- Paper identity and source access

- Design, population and comparison

- Reported results and denominators

- Limitations and unresolved questions

- Discussion and physician review

## Use the worksheet with a real source

For a 20-minute RCT discussion, fill paper identity first. Write the study question in one sentence. Record the exact table or passage beside each reported result. Allocate discussion time to design, outcomes and unresolved limitations. This demonstrates preparation structure without inventing a study finding.

### Clinical research question

What population, intervention, comparator and outcome does the paper address? Who will discuss it, and what question should the group leave able to answer?

### Paper identity and source access

Record title, authors, year, journal and DOI or PubMed identifier. Which material can you inspect: abstract, full text, supplement or protocol?

### Design, population and comparison

Describe allocation, setting, eligibility, comparator and follow-up from the source. Which design detail is unclear or unavailable? Record its location or the access gap.

### Reported results and denominators

Record the outcome, time point, estimate, uncertainty and denominator as reported. Attach the exact table, figure or passage. Separate primary and other outcomes.

### Limitations and unresolved questions

What do missing data, deviations or source-access gaps leave unresolved? Which difference in population or setting limits the discussion's applicability?

### Discussion and physician review

Write the authors' reported finding separately from your interpretation. List two discussion questions and the sources the presenter still needs to check.

## Review the completed work

Use the completed worksheet as the presenter's review record. Where Fellow preparation is enabled, check the generated draft against these same fields. The worksheet remains useful on its own with the original paper.

## Use it with an original source

Fill the worksheet from material you can access, record source limitations and keep your interpretation distinct from reported results. The downloadable template uses the same sections shown here.
