## A library with connections

A knowledge map helps you see relationships between topics you explore. It draws on product activity and the interests you choose to share. Those connections can suggest another paper or a question worth revisiting; they are not an assessment of clinical competence.

- Save the sources that matter to you.

- Use Train Your Brain to add explicit interests.

- Explore a connection and verify it against the underlying literature.

## Put the capability to work

A recurring research question becomes easier to resume when its papers, interests and related topics remain connected. The knowledge map gives you another route into that evidence.

### Build a source-based thread

Save papers you want to revisit. Add explicit interests through the supported Train Your Brain or Fellow context controls. Give each paper a reason for inclusion in your research question.

### Explore a connection

Where the map is available, open the knowledge-map area in Digital Fellow. Select a topic node to open an evidence question about that topic. Inspect the returned citations and original literature before using the relationship in an appraisal.

### An inspectable connection

For example, a reading thread might connect an intervention, its functional outcome and papers that report different follow-up periods. Your note should name the papers and explain that relationship. This example describes a reading structure; it makes no clinical conclusion.

### Return with a better question

Use the connection to ask a narrower question, compare the papers or resume an appraisal. Keep an unexplained or unsupported connection as a question to investigate.

## What a useful result contains

Use these checks to assess the work you can actually open. Keep the source, the supported account workflow and your own review connected.

- A topic connection leads back to identifiable literature.

- Your notes explain why the sources belong together.

- The map helps you resume a research question rather than implying competence.

## Keep the evidence and your judgment together

The Fellow supports research, awareness and review. Inspect important sources, keep questions de-identified and check local guidance. It does not take autonomous clinical action.
