  • Usage Data: Medical queries, chat history, saved citations
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version
  • Authentication: Secure tokens for login sessions

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide AI-powered medical research assistance
  • Authenticate users and maintain account security
  • Process medical queries and generate evidence-based responses
  • Save and sync your citation library across devices
  • Improve app performance and fix technical issues

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • End-to-end encryption for all data transmission (TLS 1.3)
  • AES encryption for local device storage
  • Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) for sensitive data
  • HIPAA-compliant infrastructure for PHI protection
  • Regular security audits and updates

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to provide functionality:

  • Supabase: Authentication and data storage
  • OpenAI: AI processing (queries are anonymized)
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management
  • Sentry: Error tracking (with automatic PII redaction)

We do NOT:

  • Sell your personal information
  • Share data with advertisers
  • Use your data for marketing without consent
  • Share medical queries with third parties (except anonymized for AI processing)

6. Your Rights

  • Delete your account and all associated data

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services. You can delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove all your data from our systems within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

AttendMe is intended for healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or email.
