Prepare something you can inspect

The preparation workflow retrieves sources, drafts a structured document and checks claims before preparing downloads. The workflow is controlled by account-level rollout. A completed draft still needs physician review, and an abstract-only source cannot support full-text conclusions.

  • Define the paper or question, audience and discussion time.
  • Check population, study design, findings and limitations.
  • Review the draft and supported PDF, Word and reference exports where enabled.
02

Put the capability to work

In an account with preparation enabled, use the Fellow to organise a cited discussion draft. Start with an exact paper or focused topic, the audience and the time available.

  1. Give a specific preparation request

An illustrative request is: 'Prepare a 20-minute journal club for our department on [paper title or PubMed identifier]. Cover the study question, design, reported outcomes, limitations and discussion questions.' Replace the placeholder with a source you intend to review.

  2. Check the saved task

Submit the request in the Fellow preparation panel. Inspect its acknowledgement and current stage. Use All saved preparation to inspect earlier tasks. An acknowledgement establishes that a task was accepted; inspect the completed draft before reusing it.

  3. Review the draft structure

Use the public journal-club worksheet beside the draft. Check paper identity, source-access level, design, population, reported outcomes and supporting passages. Keep the presenter's interpretation separate from the authors' reported findings.

  4. Prepare the version you will present

Inspect the supported PDF, Word and reference exports where enabled. Check every important numerical claim against the original material. Leave details unavailable from the source explicitly unanswered and retain questions for the discussion.

03

What a useful result contains

Use these checks to assess the work you can actually open. Keep the source, the supported account workflow and your own review connected.

  • The draft addresses the intended source, audience and duration.
  • Each finding has inspectable source support and an access limit.
  • The presenter has reviewed the actual export, including citations and unresolved points.
04

Keep the evidence and your judgment together

The Fellow supports research, awareness and review. Inspect important sources, keep questions de-identified and check local guidance. It does not take autonomous clinical action.
